I replaced the stock CPU cooler in a Sony Vaio RZ16D with this. It got an immediate -4C improvement in temperature which went to -6C after some ArticSilver5 set up. I really like the way the plastic shroud vents all the processor heat right out the rear case fan. I replaced the 80mm fan that came with it with a high quality ball bearing Sanyo-Denki fan and at 2250 RPM I can barely hear it at all.
