I bought this to replace a cheap case fan in my HP/Compaq PC. Works great, moves a lot of air but at the max speed according to SpeedFan about 2,700 RPM sounds like a small wind tunnel inside the PC case. At that point it is louder than the 80mm fan at nearly 3,000 RPM on my Thermaltake K450 CPU cooler. I use SpeedFan to control the fan speed and around 1,900 RPM at a setting of 55% it is barely audible.
Plus the transparent casing and fan blade assembly looks really cool and dual ball bearings should mean long life.
I would highly recommend this case fan if noise isn't an issue. If it is, you might want to look at some other alternatives.
